misplaces her ring and the Hero spots it on the ground outside his flat soon after the Heroine had flounced off AND he s horrified eermm WHY Dismay I could buy, BUT horror It s this sort of I d go cross eyed NOT FUNNY 5 Heroine constantly getting DEFENSIVE and placing her fists on her hips was ANNOYING 6 Unnecessary angst OVER NOTHING WHAT SO EVER At least create a real reason for the hostility I get the Hero lut shaming the Heroine was misogynistic he assumed she had relations with frat boys then put him in his place and ignore him But the hissy fits were tedious and childish 7 Heroine discussing EVERY ENCOUNTER she had with the Hero to her friends 2 sets of friends so we ENDURE the TEDIOUS REPLAY TWICE because it wasn t sufficient to read it the actual event when it occurred.8 POOR PLOT it lacked a storyline Hero and Heroine meet under unusual circumstances, hostility ensues, but they secretly fancy each other, but behave immaturely, AND the whole book so far revolves around this Meh Positives 1 Hero s quiet, moody and brooding persona was attractive Although the author didn t execute it very well Rather than saying it was so we could have witnessed it 2
